Nagios Support Forum

Hi there,

I've had a look through the forums and the closest I can find to my issue is this one:

Unfortunately the link given by the user to a helpful thread is now broken and there is no useful info in that thread itself. Like the title of my post says I am getting a blank "home page" on the web interface. I have a Nagios Core installation 4.3.4.

I installed via apt on Ubuntu 20.04.2.

I'm not getting any php errors in the apache logs and all the other pages work fine. I can see my hosts and the map works etc. To be more specific what I mean is on the home page I can see the Nagios Logo at the top and at the bottom it says:

"Copyright © 2010-2017 Nagios Core Development Team..." (although the text is skewed to the left).

It's missing the "Get Started" and "Quick Links" boxes etc. Not a huge deal but I would like to understand why this isn't working. If I haven't provided adequate information please let me know and I will remedy this for you. Thank you to anyone who takes the time to look at my issue. Hope you're having a great day.

There isn't really anyone on these forums responsible for the various apt/yum/etc distributions of Nagios Core. The official documentation has you compiling Nagios Core from source, and that setup is what you'll get the best support on here:

You could try uninstalling the apt distribution and instead compile Nagios Core from source, and see if you get different results.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately due to conditions outside of my control I am required to install Nagios via apt. I'll have to try and work it out somehow.
