After a failed attempt I am seeing the following config status message.

Check your configuration file(s) to ensure that they contain valid
directives and data definitions. If you are upgrading from a previous
version of Nagios, you should be aware that some variables/definitions
may have been removed or modified in this version. Make sure to read
the HTML documentation regarding the config files, as well as the
'Whats New' section to find out what has changed.
I have ssh'd into the sever and removed the the config file mentioned in the error message. I have rerun the wizard for palo5220-01.wheaton.edu and it fails and I find the same err message in the config status. I have not rebooted the server after removing the config file. The palo5220-01 does exist in Nagios, but palo5220-02 does not. Palo5220-01 is set to failover to palo5220-02 if palo5220-01 goes down, and the revise will happen if the palo5220-02 is the primary and it goes down.
My hope is that by running the Network Switch/Router is to start receiving bandwidth data from the 5220-01 and my understanding is that this will happen even thought the router already exists in Nagios.
How do I resolve this problem?
