Hi,

We are using Nagios XI.

We have deleted a host in CCM and after deleting the host we ran "Apply configuration".

However we can see the host still under Home page.

Home --> Host status

How can this be possible. If we delete a host it should not appear.

Try going into CCM, select Config File Management, delete files, then apply config again to write the config files.

Sounds like you are running into the ghost host issue and would like to provide the support page for details.

In the article, you will see that there are duplicate services running and we are ending these processes and bouncing services.

At the end we are instructing you to go to the Configure > Core Config Manager > Tools > Config File Management to "delete files" and then "write Configs" to rebuild.
