Hi Team,

We got a false alert for one of the switch interface for the Ping service even if the the switch was up for several hours.
Please see the reference image attached.

Also i have checked graph at the particular time when alert got triggered, there was Utilization showing in the graph.
Attached the same in this post.

Please help me in finding why this false alert was triggered even if host was up.

Thanks for reaching out and would like to get more details from your environment so we can see what was going on during the alert.

To send us your system profile.

• Login to the Nagios XI GUI using a web browser.
• Click the "Admin" > "System Profile" Menu
• Click the "Download Profile" button
• Save the profile.zip file and Private Message it over
