New AD users being asked to change password

Running 5.8.5 on my DEV host. New users created connected to ldap(AD). When first logging in it brings up the "You must change your password" screen. Why is it doing that for non local accounts?

Hi
How are you adding the new users?
Under Admin, Manage Users you want to use the "Add users from LDAP/AD" button and not the "Add new user" button.

That is how I am adding them. Their AD password works and even after Nagios makes them change it, their actual AD password continues to work. It's almost as though Nagios is forcing them to set a local password even when allow local login isn't selected.

I can't duplicate the issue, so please send me a System Profile
To send us your system profile.
1. Login to the Nagios XI GUI using a web browser.
2. Click the "Admin" > "System Profile" Menu
3. Click the "Download Profile" button
4. Save the profile.zip file and share this in a private message and then reply to this post to bring it up in the queue.
