Socket Timeout

Hi,
At command line, we are getting following error.
[root@nagios libexec]# ./check_http -H aeaupsql01 -u https://school.abc.com.ad
CRITICAL - Socket timeout
[root@nagios libexec]# ./check_http -H aeaupsql01
CRITICAL - Socket timeout
[root@nagios libexec]# ./check_http -H aeaupsql01.ce.corp
CRITICAL - Socket timeout
Please help us to fix this issue.
