NLS Integration with Grafana

Hi Support,

I have a few questions regarding NLS integration with Grafana:

1. Can we integrate NLS with Grafana so that we can show the logs on a Grafana dashboard? I found that the Grafana Elasticsearch datasource only supports Elasticsearch v2 and above, but NLS is using Elasticsearch v1. If there is no way, is it possible to upgrade the Elasticsearch of NLS or maybe for Grafana to use external Elasticsearch?

2. NLS also is using logstash v2, and won't work with the logstash output to Loki plugin. Is it possible to upgrade the logstash of NLS or maybe to use external logstash instead?

Thanks.

We don't currently have any guides/info on Nagios Log Server to Grafana integration. Upgrading the Logstash/Elasticsearch versions in Nagios Log Server is currently not supported.

I have previously submitted the request to development to have them upgrade Logstash and Elasticsearch versions in Nagios Log Server so development is aware of the need for it but it is still in the pipeline to be done.

I'm investigating to see what I can find.

I was unable to find a solution for this, Grafana removed Elasticsearch 1.X support after v4.1 according to some googling and I wasn't able to find an alternative.
