Can we install Nagiosxi 5.7.5 on RHEL 7 or 8?

Hi,
we are using nagios xi 5.7.5 version installed on RHEL6. As RHEL6 is EOL so we need to upgrade it to RHEL7 or 8. So please can you let us know that Can we install Nagios xi 5.7.5 on RHEL 7 or 8

Yes you can. However if you can go to RHEL8 that would be better. We just converted our RHEL7 systems to RHEL8 and have seen significant performance improvements.

Hi,
Yes - Nagios XI 5.7.5 is supported on Centos 7 & 8 and RHEl 7 & 8.
In addition to the performance gains of going to RHEL 8 as the previous poster noted,
by going to RHEL 8 you are that much further from being forced to migrate again because
of an OS EOL situation.
Once you have migrated to the new OS you should look into upgrading Nagios XI to the
latest version.
