We have installed 4 instance trial version in Linux VMs. What is the permissions needed for unix accounts to do uninterrupted operations in the nagios backend.

During installation a "nagios" user is created and the installed files/directories
will have their permissions set correctly for this user. There should be no need to
create additional accounts.

I see in a previous post that you were having some permission issues. When you
ran the install script were you the "root" user?
