Hello,
Apart from the manuals for configuring Nagios to withstand big implementations (~18000 checks every 5 minutes), anyone has a suggestion as to what resources should the server have? (CPU, RAM, Disk)
Thanks in advance.

Hi
@coitop,
We have a few documents and guides on how to boost the performance of a Nagios XI server. That said, we usually recommend splitting up your environment into multiple servers at around 20K total host and service checks. There can be diminishing returns on the cost of ownership for large installations.
Are you anticipating a growing network over the next 3-5 years? If so, it may be best to setup up more than one instance from the start.
Here's are the sizing guidelines. I would double or triple the recommended systems specs on memory/space and 16 CPUs.
