Reverting to core

Hi All,
we've been a long time nagiosxi user, but due to budgetary constraints we need to move back to core.
I have read that there doesn't appear to be an easy way to do this, but that I need to copy the config files from xi and re-install those on a core system. My question is where are the config files stored and how do I copy them out of xi and install them into core?
Thanks,
Chris.

Hello
@lilydalehs
Thanks for reaching out on the migration to Core. The Nagios Core back-end is already accessible on your current Nagios XI environment. You can access it by going to:
The Nagios Core will not check for licensing.
Thanks,
Perry

Hi Chris,
Sorry to hear that and we do appreciate you being a loyal Nagios XI customer. I would reach to our sales team,
[email protected], and see if you have any options for reducing the cost (perhaps changing the license node level).
Also, Nagios XI is a perpetual license. However, you will lose access to customer support and updates when the license expires.
Regards,
Benjamin

Hi Benjamin,
thanks for the clarification there. I really love the product, but the Admin team have reduced our budget such that we have to cut quite a few of our projects. Hopefully it's only temporary.
Regards,
Chris.

Your welcome!
We'll close this out but feel free to open another if you have any new questions.
