Hi,

Could someone explain step by step how to configure alarms for a host group to be sent to a contact.

I read that I should use Host Template for this, but emails don't come out.

Hi Maka,

Do you know if you are using the Enterprise Edition? Try going to Configure > CCM > Tools > Bulk Mods Tool > Add Contact(s)

That would be the easiest way to since you can add a contact to the entire hostgroup using that tool.

Let us know. Otherwise, you can manage this with template assignment, but that will still require adding the template to the hosts.
