Change WMI creds for a few hosts

Hello,

We recently changed a bunch of passwords on the AD side of our environment, and all of our WMI objects in Nagios XI need the new service account password.

I configured these hosts using the WMI wizard in which it asks for the credentials, but I cannot for the life of me find where to change that in the CCM for these hosts. Am I missing something obvious?

Thanks!

If you edit one of the services, it will either be in the $ARG2$ column on the service OR the auth file location that you would need to update would be listed there.

Depending on your XI version (what version are you using?), if you have the Enterprise License add-on you can use Configure > Core Config Manager > Tools > Bulk Modifications Tool > Change a Command and Arguments. I would apply configuration first to create a successful config snapshot that you can use to restore to in Admin > Config Snapshots in case you make the wrong change/have issues/etc and want to undo the changes.

Excellent, service bulk config on $arg2$ did the trick for all of them.

Thanks!

Glad that worked.

We'll go ahead and close this out, but feel free to open another if you have any new questions.
