Does adding a Nagios Core reduce the processing overhead on the XI server?

230 Hosts + 8000 Services requires quite a bit of CPU time and XI needed a massive amount of adjustment to get it to run in a stable manner

Thanks for reaching out, the Nagios Core (back end) is included in the Nagios XI. The XI includes more features on the front end including implementation of the database (on the back end).

You are able to view both from the following web console url's:
