No dashboards at all

Post by dfsocha »

Trying to load up a dashboard to view logs and there are none in there at all - they're all gone, even the "default" ones. Is there a spot to download dashboard examples?

Hi dfsocha,

Bummer. Here''s a link to the Log Server Dashboards on our exchange site.

https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/A ... Dashboards

You should be able to download and import them via the the Advanced option under load ( see attached screenshot)

Also here's a link to our Knowledge Base article on creating dashboards:

https://support.nagios.com/kb/article/c ... d-899.html

Hope this is useful.

Thanks and Best Regards,
Keith

Hi kfanselow,

Which dashboard would be considered the "default" dashboard - I see there are multiple download options if I scroll down but they seem specific to certain situations.

Thank you!

Hi DFS,

I'll attach the stock dashboards to this message along with a screenshot showing where to set your default dashboard. The default for a fresh install is the events dashboard, Events.json in the attached bundle. The stock dashboards are fairly generic and while they can serve as a good template your best bet is to create dashboards tailored for your environment.

Thanks and Best Regards,
Keith
