Hello team ,

Is it possible to do nested hostgroup in nagiosxi .Like we googled and found many already shared links but those were old ones .And so we would like to know if nested hostgroup creation is possible in today's scenario .Please let us know .

Requirement is on dash board it should be visible to have bifurcation but it is showing all groups members in main hostgroup . Bifurcation should be visible of nested hostgroup like a tree on dashboard .

One more query is it possible to monitor services running in container of docker .Like we have gone through nagiosxi documentation of container monitoring but it is not showing monitoring status of service running in container . Apart on exchange also didn't find any plugin .

A Nagios instance that is monitoring A Docker container cannot monitor the services within that Docker container.

No. I don't know much about Docker, but from what I have seen from some Google searches it is possible to have a Nagios
instance running inside a Docker instance.

If not ,Is it expected to be in future releases .

There are no plans at this time to include this functionality.

The concern is can we monitor the container services which is running on some other instance through nagiosxi where nagios is running on some other node .

I think that may be possible. My suggestion is to try it. I don't have any Docker experience
so unfortunately I can't "lab it" for you.
