Generic contact email settings

Hey all,

I was wondering if someone can help me with a little problem I'm trying to resolve.

We have a specific requirement to have SMS messages going to our On-Call admin after business hours. I've been able to create a contact and add a time period which is working perfectly, I've even been able to add all the Australian public holidays and have 24/7 monitoring on those days.

The problem I'm having is while the solution is working perfectly each alert is taking 3 text messages adding to our cost per alert. The contact is using the generic-contact template and i'm not sure how to edit this.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to edit the email contents for the generic-contact template? Note I don't want to change any other alert template just this contact.

Please send me what the 3 SMS message show in each one to help me understand it.

PM me a fresh copy of your profile.zip as well, you can download it from Admin > System Profile by clicking the Download Profile button.

Let me know the name of the contact you are testing with for SMS so I can see how it is setup and guide you further.
