Nagios XI failed to add servers behind VPN or different VLAN

Hi Team,
We have purchased nagios xi and few of our servers are behind the VPN or private intranet. Which is the best way we have to follow to add all those servers. We are currently using NCPA as an agent and most of the servers are Linux only.
Thanks

Hi,
NCPA requires that the Nagios XI server be able to contact the machine to be monitored via TCP port 5693.
So if a firewall is in the way then traffic must be allowed through to port 5693 of the machine being monitored,
regardless of if the firewall is on a network appliance, on the Linux server to be monitored itself, or both.
Your network team should be able to help you configure your network so that this is possible.
If you run into any specific issues while configuring your network please let us know and we'll help
you solve them.
Thank you!

Hi,
Thanks for the details, we have NagiosXI license and we found that there is a distribution option also available with Nagios XI. So, could you please confirm can be possible with Nagios XI itself or do we need to purchase additional Fusion license for this.
Do we have option to upgrade our license to Nagios XI to Fusion. So that we can install Nagios Core server in all locations and services, hosts, hostgroups, & service groups can be managed by Nagios Fusion.
NagiosXI installed in ubuntu 20LTS OS 64bit.
Thanks

Hi,
Our license is NagiosXI and found that when we use the distributed method of Nagios can resolve this issue. Is it possible to upgrade our current license model Nagios XI to Fusion.
Could you please share the Nagios XI to Nagios Fusion migration processes.
Thanks

Hi
Nagios Fusion is a separate product from Nagios XI.
If you have a Nagios XI in location A and another Nagios XI in location B then Nagios Fusion can show
both of them in a centralized view. Both Nagios XI servers will need to be able to connect to the
Fusion server via http or https.
Please contact
