Nagios Support Forum

Hi,
I am a newbie to nagios
I wanted to monitor a set of process on the remote server.If the the process goes down,it should report.
How can I perform this operation?Can anyone please give a elaborate procedure both on the remote machine and on the nagios server?
I need to implement this as soon as possible
