Nagios Support Forum

So I tried adding two new users yesterday and they started getting a ton of emails about service issues where the rest of us don't get notified about them. These new users are only supposed to receive notifications for a few servers, not our entire infrastructure. How do i control what notifications they get?

To clarify: I add a new user. They get notifications for devices and services. However, when I go to a device and look under alert settings, their contact is not there. So how could they be getting notifications?

Is the contact in a contact group?
