Upgrade from 5.8.9 to latest version

Hello!
We have a question about my version upgrade.
Nowadays, we have 5.8.9 version and in our console appears "Latest Available Version: 5.8.10" but we check https://www.nagios.com/downloads/nagios-xi/change-log/ and latest version is 5.9.1, what is the reason? is it necessary to upgrade before the other one?
