Update postgresql on Nagios XI

Hello,
can you please help me how to update postgresql client on nagios server step by step? We need to use the "Postgres Query - Test Query" function, but it reports this error: "ERROR: SCRAM authentication requires libpq version 10 or above".
We have a current version of Nagios XI 5.9.1.
