Disable Update check

Hi,
How can I disable update check in Nagios Log Server?
I have modified the settings in Global Settings --> Disable Update Check --> Yes
and
Command Subsystem --> run_update_check --> Modified the date to future date (2050).
But still Nagios Log Server prompting "Update check". So it is keep resetting the session. can I disable to update check command line to disable it completely ? Update checking is not useful as the the NLS servers are offline/DMZ (No internet access)
