Hello,

I am getting Database error after fresh install of Nagios on newly built REHL 8.6 server. repair_databases.sh returns everything ok. Please suggest how to fix. This is first time login to finalize Nagios installation.


Database Error
A database connection error has been detected, please follow the repair prompt below. If the issue persists, please contact Nagios support.
Run the following from the CLI as root to attempt to repair the DB:

/usr/local/nagiosxi/scripts/repair_databases.sh

Are you still having this issue? There shouldn't be a database issue on fresh install so its possible that this was a corrupted install. Are you installing on a fresh vm? It is recommended to install on a minimal system with nothing else installed or configured. You mentioned you ran the repair script already, if you want to attempt it again here is the documentation for it, other than that it is likely that you'll need to reinstall without more information.
