Need help gaining access to dashboard

Our 7-day rolling average is now 595.28 MB / 500.00 MB. So I have lost access to the dashboard.
I want to filter nxlogs from some Windows devices to bring the amount of data down but without access to the dashboard, I can't figure out if the changes I am making to nxlog conf file are doing what i want. Is there a way to regain short term access without turning off logging until the 7 day average is back under 500?
