Nagios Cross-Platform Agent

Our security department has flagged NRPE as potentially unsafe. We also confirmed NRPE hasn't been updated since 2017. Were going to be in the process of phasing out NRPE for NCPA. Is there a good tool or so to help us as we have alot of customized plugins which will need to be migrated. We are also phasing out our snmp connection for this as well.
Any help would be great.

The current NRPE version is from 2022.
To me, the move from NRPE to NCPA looks a bit painful. You'll probably want to create a host to test on and install NCPA using another port.

Unfortunately we don't yet have a tool for migrating from NRPE to NCPA. I like the idea, so I'm going to put in a feature request to make one; that said I can't promise a timeline, or if it will even be done.
The best advice I can give is to use a test environment so you don't disrupt your environment. Wish I had more for you right now.
