NDO not starting on boot?

Hello,

I just changed the name and upgraded a Nagios XI server. When I reboot the system I have to run this procedure everytime.

https://support.nagios.com/kb/article/u ... i-885.html

If I do not run that procedure, when I force an immediate check of a service, nothing happens. Service check "Last Check" timestamps do not update if I do not run that procedure on boot.

Also, a less severe issue, when I visit the Home page it says "We can’t connect to the server at [OLD_HOSTNAME_HERE]" in window.

How can I reboot the nagios server without having to run that every time? I attached the profile.

Thanks,
TJ

One option is to use the Core Configuration Manager (CCM) to change the hostname of your existing host. You can go to Configure > Core Configuration Manager > Hosts and edit the host name there. However, this may erase the historical data of that host and its services.

Thanks for the reply. There are no hosts in CCM. I used static configurations. I greped for the old hostname and it is not in the static configurations. All references in static have the new hostname.
