Hi all,

I have been having some trouble with adding devices to our NagiosXI. It wouldn't let me add any hosts to monitor or even makes any changes to the settings. It would time out every time.

It turns out that I can only make changes if I login via the browser on the host that is running NagiosXI. The PC which i was initially using is on the same subnet as the Nagios server.

Any suggestions on what might be causing this?

Hello AlloyOfIron,

I would suggest starting by restarting your Nagios XI server and clearing your browser's cookies and data for said XI server. I've noticed that the cookies and login system can get messed up sometimes and a hard reset usually solves this issue.
