Hello,

We are currently trying to set up the NagiosXI VMware plugin (https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ios-XI.pdf) to monitor our cluster. However it has been brought to my attention that the plugin still uses the vSphere 7 Perl SDK. The vSphere 7 Perl SDK is depreciated currently. vSphere 8 is also now the latest release.

Is there another plugin, or newer documentation we should be using? Could I please get feedback.

Thanks for pointing this out, unfortunately we don't have new documentation however vSphere perl SDK 7 should still work with vSphere8. The version numbers for perl SDK do not need to match the vSphere number. Can you run it and see if you get any errors and if you do post them on here?
