get notification from router or switch

is it possible to receive a notification that a change has occurred after a change is made in the router or switch?

I am not precisely sure what it is you're looking for, but it is certainly possible to receive notifications on a variety of different types of changes for everything you're monitoring (including switches and routers). I'm assuming you're already monitoring these so perhaps these articles on configuring notifications might help: here and here.
If you're looking for something more specific, could you let us know exactly what change you want notifications for? Or otherwise where you're having problems setting up notifications?
