Good Day

I need to re-compile new Nagios agents on both RH5.7 and RH6.2 servers.

I believe the originally compiled agents were compile for RH5.5. We have recently upgrade our server O/S levels to RH5.7 and/or RH6.2.

Where can I get documentation on the re-compilation / installation process?

How do I determine what version of the Nagios agents I currently have installed?

Some of my servers are 32-bit and some are 64-bit (on both RH5.7 and RH6.2). How do I determine which Nagios agents I need?

To find out what version of (I presume NRPE) you have, just run the nrpe executable and it will display it along with the help text it outputs. Once again assuming your agent is NRPE the install doco is here: http://nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/nrpe/NRPE.pdf

The NRPE source should compile on both 32-bit and 64-bit.
