syslog server logs not generating everyday

Nagios syslog server is not generating logs on day to day basis.
It get stuck and after restarting the syslog configuration, it starts working again but just for 24hrs. And we are facing same issue repeatedly
Nagios Log Server 2.1.6
Can you please provide the permanent fix for this.

AS always, the first suggestion is to update Nagios Log Server. The current version is 2024R1.
That aside, this sounds like it may be a result of the log files being rotated on a daily basis. When that happens the old log file is renamed in place and anything that has it open still refers to it.

Can you please share the steps how to perform the activity of upgrading to latest version.
Also, please suggest steps for how we can fix log file rotation.
