I found a thread that seems to have a similar issue with an older version of php. I'll send a link to the thread. Their issue is that there was multiple versions of php installed on their system. You can check by running

rpm -qa |grep php

. If you do have multiple versions of php make sure to take a snapshot before altering anything and then try removing the php versions and reinstalling it. Let us know if this helps.
