Question about Event Log

In my environment I'm monitoring 3 ESXi 7 hosts and 1 vCenter 7 appliance. My question is when I look in the Event Log on NagiosXI, every single minute there is a "Host Recovery" event that reads:

HOST ALERT: HOSTNAME;UP;HARD;1;OK - IP_ADDRESS rta XXXXms lost 0%

The "RTA" ms is always less than 1, e.g. "0.140ms" and the "lost" is always 0%.

Is this just it telling me that all the checks that it does are good? I don't receive any emails telling me something is down. If it is telling me the checks are good why does it say "Host Recovery"? That, to me, seems like they're all constantly recovering from some errant event that doesn't get logged or sent.

On the Hosts themselves there is no issues with hardware (all green across the board) and there are no networking issues.

Hey @buzzhussman

This is a bit confusing but yes host recovery is just telling you that your hosts are in a good state, it will say host problem if there is an issue. Can you look at your notification settings for these hosts and tell me what they are set to? It's possible that the interval being set low and set to notify right away could give this information however I will look into it more.
