hi My name is Lamine KANE

i am project chief in big electrical project in my country.

we have to search solution for electicity meter in order :

- to supervise all meters ( it is possible by nagios if we integrate in the meter SNMP protocol)
- consume electrical power by using prepaid system ( it should be possible but i don't know till nagios can manage a database, but let me know more).

If you wrote a check plugin to wrap an SNMP query for those meters, you could most certainly monitor those with Nagios. If you already have a way to access the data, turning it into a plugin is fairly easy.
