Perl Package issue

Hi Guys,
I am having a problem with our new centos 6.2 Nagios XI install some plugins where written based on centos 5.8 which had the perl-DBD-MySQL-3.0007-2.el5.x86_64.rpm package which had the "use Mysql" module in . Now that module seems to be gone and that plugin is failing. I can see version 4 has been installed of the package on centos 6. I have not got enough time to re-write the plugin with other mysql modules any help to get the use mysql module working on centos 6 would be great. I tried removing the cuurrent package on my system but that seems to look at riping out mysql and everything else as dependencies any help!!! I would really appreciate it ....
