Switch Wizard Bugs---Urgent Fix required

Hi Guys,

In the past I have raised issues where in I have pointed out that the SNMP version is ignored when the wizard is run, I have also found that the resultant cfgmaker file for mrtg doesnt have the correct snmp version as well. This means we have been getting wrong stats for our gigabit ethernet ports as snmp v1 doesnt support longer bit values. Can you guys please fix this please.

Many Thanks
Arnab

OK setting the default value to 2 on the actual script fixes the issue, but I think its more to do with the fact that if you hit the back button i think it then doesnt take into consideration what you have put in.

So just to confirm, the wizard is dropping the SNMP version number when going backwards a stage?

I've got this filed on my TODO for now, it may not be immediate, but we'll get it fixed. Thanks for the heads up!
