I just installed the metrics Component, but I am unable to find it anywhere to configure what I want metrics on.

The metrics that are compared by this component are already predefined:
Disk
CPU
Load
Memory
Swap

where do I pull it up to look at them?
Sorry still learning Nagios, trying to use more that 5% of it's capabilities.
