Hello,

I just got my Nagiosxi - CentOS 6.3, 32bit - running for the first time. I am trying to monitor one of my internal servers- Windows 2008 R2, 64bits.

I have downloaded the nagios agent (NSCP-0.4.0.183-win64) installation software which i tried to run on the server.

However, when I double click on the exe file, it runs as a script in less than a second and afterwards nothng happens. No sign of it either in the All Programs folder.

Is there something I am not doing correctly?

Did you try the zip instead of the msi install? (Or other way around if you tried the zip first)

Other than that, nothing special to do, just install as any normal application.

BanditBBS is right, it should have a regular installer, did you get the whole file?

Thanks guys, I actually downloaded the .zip folder instead of the .msi. I have downloaded the msi folder and done the installation. However, I went further to edit/uncomment certain lines on C:\Program Files\NSClient++\nsclient file. Was that necessary, or should I have left the file as was?

Sorry I meant C:\Progam Files\NSClient++\NSC.ini file.

This sounds fine.

Now you will just need to re-start the NSClient Service on the machine

Thanks all,

I uninstalled NSClient++ and re-installed without making any modifications to the NSC.ini file. All works perfectly now.

Thanks.
