I have had this server installed for almost three years latest Nagios XI Release fails in Web Gui or Manula upgrade with error.

"INSTALL: Dashlets installed/updated OK.
Installing Chromium...
Last metadata expiration check: 2:28:09 ago on Wed 27 Mar 2024 07:27:33 AM EDT.
No match for argument: chromium
No match for argument: chromium-headless
Error: Unable to find a match: chromium chromium-headless"

"The update did not complete properly. Click Go Back and try updating manually." Manually same error.
Running On Centos 8 maually installed 1/19/2021 first upgrade failure

A new Nagios XI update is available.
2024R1.1 was released on March 26th, 2024.

Visit www.nagios.com to obtain the latest update.

Latest Available Version: 2024R1.1
Installed Version: 2024R1.0.2
Last Update Check: 2024-03-27 10:10:12

By any chance was this instance of XI an offline install? Also are you still running into this issue when trying to upgrade to 2024R1.1? I remember seeing this issue before however I thought it was fixed.

Not an offline install.

Never had this issue before.

chromium and chromium-headless are included in EPEL

I would try a yum clean all followed by yum makecache

If that doesn't work, I suggest opening a ticket at https://answerhub.nagios.com/support/s/

sudo yum install epel-release
## OR ##
sudo dnf install epel-release

I have the same issue, i'm running on Centos 7.9 and actual version is 2024R1.0.2

how can I install chromium or not possible install manualy this package.

I try with yum install epel-release but don't show the repo
