Hello,

I try the following command:

./check_nrpe -H X.X.X.X -c check_service -a service=spooler

but I get a wrong result:

UNKNOWN: No handler for that command

I don`t understand why, because check_service is includet at check_nrpe

Can someone help me?

Thank you.

Thanks for reaching out @Lebenshilfe,

What version of NRPE are you using and what does the check_service plugin look like?

It looks like you can get that response from a host running nsclient and check_service isn't in the nsclient config...

Yes, I get this response from a host, how can I include the check_service at the nsclient?

I use the version 0.3.9 of the nsclient and I use the version 2.13 of nrpe

You can add it to the nsclient.ini and/or see if nsclient has an internal service check.
