RESOLVED Non-Admin Users - No Configure menu

I'm trying to check users notification settings, by masquerading. Upon logging to a non-admin, I'm finding that they do not have a "Configure" menu item per the instructions in my admin section, Notification Settings Management. Why not?

Notification Settings Management

This page allows for notification settings to be saved and deployed to all users, a selection of users, or a selection of contact groups. This component will only update notification settings for contacts that are created by Nagios XI, or contacts created according to the XI Users and Contacts. Unless notification settings are locked, all users can still modify their own notification settings from the Configure->My Account Settings-> Notification Options page.

gregbeyer,

Your users likely don't have a Configure menu item because they don't have any CCM access. If you navigate to Admin > Manage Users > <User in Question> > Core Config Manager Access and assign whatever permissions you want them to have.

Regarding the Notifications Settings Management, any user can navigate to My Account > Notification Options. They cannot however modify system-wide notification settings in the Admin menu unless given explicit permission via the Manage Users page.

gregbeyer,

Glad to hear that was the solution; locking the thread.
