Searching logs in NLS with revoked license

Post by TX_Group_AG »

Hello everyone,

We installed the latest NLS 2024 server on a VM, due to end of support of RHEL7 which was a base OS up until version 2024R1.0.2.
After this version we were forced to go with new NLS installation which runs on CentOS 9.

Thing and question is:

after we revoke the license from the old NLS node and activate that license on the new server, will it still be possible for us to read the log history inside old NLS? at least for a number of days until new NLS fills in it's history buffer and we decide to decom the old nls?

Thank you,

Regards.

I would recommend following this guide to configure a snapshot of your existing NLS instance and then importing that snapshot's logstash indexes into your new cluster:

Code: Select all
