User given configuration right for a hostgroup

All,
Is it possible to assign rights to a user so that they can update threshold settings for a number of given hosts, i.e. change the CPU utilization warning level from say 95% to 90%, but only on certain hosts?
Thanks
David

Hi @kimihira,
Yes this is possible! There are a few steps involved:
1. In order to get this to work for hostgroups, you will likely want to set up a host template.
2. Within this host template, specify the contact (user) you would like to be able to access these hosts. You can also specify a contact group and add the target users to that contact group.
3. Optionally specify the hostgroups in the host template (so your hostgroup and matches your limited hosts 1-1).
4. Apply the host template to the desired hosts.
5. Give the user limited CCM access (with nothing checked).
Hope this works out for you, and let us know if you need any additional assistance.
Thank you!
