SSL Cert Monitoring

Does Nagios have 3rd party integration with SSL Cert providers?

I would like to be able to
a) import a list of certs from several providers and turn on monitoring
b) continuously sync with the providers and detect/automatically turn on monitoring for any newly purchased certs

I scoured the knowledgebase but did not find anything.

Hello @matson-itops,

Thank you for reaching out!

I do not believe there are any integrations that currently does what you are looking for.

I would recommend checking on the Nagios Exchange to see if anything could provide assistance with your use case!

If you have any other questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to reach out!

Hi @matson-itops,

My question would be if Cert providers make that information available. If you can get the info from them, you can monitor it with Nagios.

Keep us posted, I'm sure we can find a way.

Aaron is right. If you can get access to that information via a provider API, you can monitor it, but since you're potentially looking at multiple vendors with different APIs, there'll be a bit of work involved in making such a thing universal, so to speak. Unfortunately I'm not seeing much on the exchange regarding something like this either.
