Hello,
i'm upgrading my Nagios XI to last version and it seems that NCPA agent now needs a token mandatory when adding it ?
Is there a way to bypass it ?
Thanks
Hey
@jjung_clarins
When is NCPA asking for the token and is it blocking any of your normal processes that do not require NCPA? Whenever you use NCPA to monitor something it will should always ask for a token so I am a little confused by the post.

Which Configuration Wizard are you using? It it is an NCPA wizard, then you will have to have NCPA installed on the server you wish to monitor, and use the token from that server in the configuration wizard. The token provides security for the NCPA agent on the monitored server so that access to the agent and its interface can be controlled and restricted only to the Nagios monitoring processes. If you don't want to use a token for this, there are other options available depending on what you wish to monitor and what tools you have available on the server (i.e., SNMP).
