Hi,

Which Nagios Core folders do you backup regularly?

I am not talking about .cfg objects configs that maybe your already have under version control.
This question is more related another folders you backup to be sure Nagios Core is safe, as for example, before making an upgrade in case you need to roll back.

Thank you so much!

Best regards

I usually run Nagios on a VM, which I make snapshots for to roll back in case I need to. Keeping your configs in version control and having snapshots for your server allows you to even in the event of a devastating crash to roll back the server, pull the configs and be up and running in no time.

This does work effectively as a backup method.
