Upgrade to latest Version button in GUI not working anymore

After chnaging license from Unlimited hsts to a 1000 nodes we see the "Upgrade to latest Version"greyd out.
We had to enter new license keys to get de NagiosXI working correctly.
Is there a way to get de GUI upgrade button work again?
RHEL8.10 NagiosXI 2024R2

Hi Christian,
I'm attempting to replicate this issue. In the meantime, are you noticing any other license-related issues with your XI installation? Or is everything working normally except for this upgrade button?

As far we have seen no other issues other than upgrade button.

Can you let us know what XI theme you're using? In the Neptune theme, the "Upgrade to Latest Version" button uses a secondary color scheme that could possibly look "disabled."
I was able to get version 2024R2 installed on a RHEL 8 VM, added an unlimited license, activated the license and added an enterprise key, and then changed license keys to a 1000 node license. I wasn't ever able to get to a state where the "Upgrade to Latest Version" button was greyed out or disabled.
It looks like the factors that determine whether the button itself is disabled are:
1. You are connecting through a proxy server
2. You installed via RPM
If either of these are true you'll need to use a non UI upgrade method. For a proxy, you'll need to download the tarball of the version you want to upgrade to and install it on the command line. For RPMs, you'll need to upgrade via RPM.

Hi Jsimon,
you triggerd me with the proxy. After i disable de proxy setting the button works again as ever since. Question raises why this is happening ? Is this to check the host at Nagios side after changing the license? We also noticed strange beahvior on the Nagios logserver reguarding the proxy settings the last months. Maybe related to a change in policy ?
Update problem is now solved, but an explanation is still wanted.

Glad you were able to identify the issue! Proxy servers interfering with update checks aren't a policy that we have, as much as a configuration challenge. You'll want to make sure your proxy is configured within XI so that it can work through it to perform accurate update checks. To configure this, go to Admin > System Config > Proxy Configuration. You can do this in Nagios Log Server as well.
