Hello,

We have downloaded and configured Nagios Log Server 2024R2.0.3 in our VM and I was able to access it using GUI and changed nagiosadmin password...

But, When I use same username and password using Putty, I am unable to login... I get error as Access is Denied...

We should be transferring the configs from old NLS to new NLS...

Can you please help me in this?

Hi Srinivas Mandalika!

If by changing nagiosadmin password via GUI you mean changing the password to the nagiosadmin account on the NLS web interface, this does not affect the log in for the system NLS runs on, and in order to Putty in to the system you would log in with whatever credentials you had already setup.

If this is not what you meant, please feel free to clarify your issue further!

I got the default password by going through the Nagios Log Server documentation...
