Nagios RAM Disk Filling Up – How Do I Fix This?

Hi everyone,

I’m running into an issue where my Nagios RAM disk keeps filling up much faster than expected. After a few hours of normal operation, the ramdisk reaches nearly 100%, causing performance problems and occasional service check failures.

I’ve already checked for large log files and temporary files, but I’m not sure what’s actually causing the rapid growth.

Has anyone experienced this before?

What are the most common causes of ramdisk overfilling in Nagios?

Thanks in advance!

Hello @TeresaKPeterson,

I would like to refer you to another recent similar post about this where @kfanselow offers some good troubleshooting steps for common issues that could be causing this problem. viewtopic.php?t=76680

If this is urgent, I highly recommend opening a support case.

Good luck!
